About MediVera Compounding Pharmacy
A compounding pharmacy prepares customized medications based on an individual prescriber’s order. This includes adjusting the dose, delivery method, or formulation when a commercially available option is unavailable or unsuitable for a specific patient. MediVera operates as a 503A compounding pharmacy, meaning every compound is prepared by prescription for an individual patient using ingredients sourced from FDA-registered suppliers. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. Unlike standard retail pharmacies that dispense pre-manufactured drugs, MediVera’s team of compounding pharmacists creates formulations specific to each patient’s prescription. Yes. MediVera holds dual PCAB accreditation in both sterile and non-sterile compounding, a distinction fewer than 1% of compounding pharmacies in the United States hold. PCAB accreditation from the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (now administered through ACHC) is the gold standard for compounding quality. The American Medical Association recommends that providers partner only with PCAB-accredited pharmacies. MediVera also complies with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards and invests $1.5M+ annually in third-party laboratory testing. Providers evaluating pharmacy partners can review our full quality documentation on our Quality and Compliance page.
Yes. MediVera ships compounded medications to patients in 49 states across the United States. We are licensed in states including Michigan, Texas, Nevada, Washington D.C., Florida, New York, and dozens more. Most compounds ship within 48 hours of a valid prescription being received and verified. Our telehealth pharmacy fulfillment infrastructure is designed specifically to support providers and telehealth platforms whose patient base spans multiple states. View the complete list of states we serve on our Service Areas page.
Yes. All compounded medications dispensed by MediVera require a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider. Compounded medications are prepared for individual patients based on a prescriber’s order and are not available over the counter. Patients cannot self-prescribe or initiate a compounding request without a provider’s involvement. If you have a prescription, you can submit it through our Quick Refill portal or have your provider submit it directly through our Provider Portal.
MediVera compounds across 7 primary therapeutic categories: weight management (GLP-1 support compounds), hormone replacement therapy (HRT/BHRT), men’s health (including testosterone replacement and ED support compounds), women’s health, longevity and peptides, dermatology, and pet medications. All compounds are prepared by prescription for individual patients. For more information about specific compounding categories, visit our Compounding Services page. Providers can also request our full product catalog through the provider portal.
MediVera ships most compounds within 48 hours of receiving a complete, valid prescription. After a prescription is submitted, MediVera contacts the patient within one business day to confirm details and process payment. Most incoming calls are answered within 30 seconds. Turnaround times can vary based on compound complexity and shipping destination. For time-sensitive prescriptions or high-volume provider accounts, our dedicated account management team coordinates expedited fulfillment where possible. Submit a prescription through our Provider Portal or contact us directly at 877-531-1147.
MediVera has 27+ years of operational history, dual PCAB accreditation in sterile and non-sterile compounding (fewer than 1% of pharmacies hold this), a 56,000 sq ft facility opened in 2025, and a $1.5M+ annual investment in third-party testing. Most newer online compounding pharmacies entered the market during the GLP-1 surge without the infrastructure, accreditation history, or quality documentation MediVera has built over more than two decades.
MediVera is also backed by a proprietary customer service promise that covers every patient, provider, and telehealth partner we work with. From the moment a prescription is submitted to the moment it arrives, the experience is designed to be fast, clear, and reliable.
