Most compounds ship within 48 hours of a valid prescription being received and verified. Do I need a prescription to get a compounded medication from MediVera?
Yes. All compounded medications dispensed by MediVera require a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider. Compounded medications are prepared for individual patients based on a prescriber’s order and are not available over the counter. Patients cannot self-prescribe or initiate a compounding request without a provider’s involvement. If you have a prescription, you can submit it through our Quick Refill portal or have your provider submit it directly through our Provider Portal.
What therapeutic categories does MediVera compound?
MediVera compounds across 7 primary therapeutic categories: weight management (GLP-1 support compounds), hormone replacement therapy (HRT/BHRT), men’s health (including testosterone replacement and ED support compounds), women’s health, longevity and peptides, dermatology, and pet medications. How long does MediVera take to fill a compounded prescription?
MediVera ships most compounds within 48 hours of receiving a complete, valid prescription. After a prescription is submitted, MediVera contacts the patient within one business day to confirm details and process payment. Most incoming calls are answered within 30 seconds. Turnaround times can vary based on compound complexity and shipping destination. For time-sensitive prescriptions or high-volume provider accounts, our dedicated account management team coordinates expedited fulfillment where possible.
