Semax

Semax is a synthetic peptide analog of a short fragment (positions 4 to 10) of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), modified for stability. A more stable, more potent variant, N-Acetyl Semax Amidate, is also available. As a peptide class, ACTH-fragment analogs have been studied in published literature in connection with neurotrophic signaling. Any activity described is attributed to the peptide as studied in research settings, not to any specific compounded preparation.
