KPV

About KPV

KPV is a synthetic tripeptide (lysine-proline-valine). It corresponds to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH), a naturally occurring signaling molecule. As a peptide class, alpha-MSH fragments have been studied in preclinical literature in connection with anti-inflammatory signaling. Any activity described is attributed to the peptide as studied in laboratory and animal models, not to any specific compounded preparation.

This peptide class is currently under evolving regulatory review. Information listed here is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice or a promotion of any specific product. Compounded medications are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy. This information does not imply availability of KPV through MediVera Compounding Pharmacy™.

*Compounded medications are prepared based on a healthcare provider’s prescription to meet individual patient needs. These medications are not FDA-approved, and no claims are made regarding their safety, efficacy, or quality. While we offer compounded medications tailored to individual needs, we also have commercially available drugs for patients when appropriate. All doses listed are common doses; customized medication strengths are also available as prescribed by a licensed provider.
