Bi-EST is a medication comprising two bioidentical estrogens: Estradiol and Estriol. These hormones closely resemble those naturally produced in the female body, mainly by the ovaries. One key feature of bioidentical estrogen compounds is their frequent use of estriol. Estradiol, a component of these compounds, undergoes a process where it can change back and forth into estrone, which then further converts irreversibly into estriol.
